Ken Hendrie, CEO, Director and Founder


Ken Hendrie is an experienced security advisor to the Australian Government, not-for-profit sector, and private industry. Ken combines his understanding of organisational culture and operation with security knowledge to create change programs that provide businesses with a significant uplift of their security maturity.

With 20 years of cybersecurity experience, Ken has provided security advice to all major Australian Federal Government departments, five of the top 10 international technology product providers (including Microsoft, IBM and Juniper) and is heavily involved with local and global cybersecurity industry groups (learn more). He has extensive experience in all aspects of IT and security programs, both technical and non-technical, and can communicate at all levels of an organisation.

Ken plays an active role through the development and review of industry publications, mentoring of professionals (of all ages), delivery of training in the areas of cyber security, management, audit and IT Governance. His experience has led to ISACA inviting him to develop and review exam items for the global Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) exams.

Key clients he has advised span the not-for-profit sector, and private industry, including major banks, insurers, and smaller enterprises. He has also led projects for many local and state government agencies across Australia, America, South Korea, Malaysia and China.
